Bifidobacterium lactis HN019â„¢
Evidence shows that B.Lactis HN019â„¢ supports regular bowel movements, healthy digestion, and occasional gas and bloating. This probiotic strain is so well researched, that Canada, Japan, Switzerland, and Brazil have all approved it as an effective intervention for reducing gut transit time (aka helping with regular daily bowel movements).
Globe Artichoke

How does Bloat Buddy work?
Bloat Buddy combines three different ingredients: Liquorice (root) extract, Globe Artichoke and Ginger. Our Liquorice root extract (GutGard®) has been shown to have beneficial activity for digestive support by helping to protect our precious, hardworking gut. Ginger has been used as a digestive aid in eastern Europe for generations. Studies have demonstrated that ginger can lend a helping hand by relieving occasional bouts of nausea. Globe artichoke has also been used for generations as a digestive aid and has been shown to support: Healthy liver function, Feelings of fullness, Bloating, Flatulence, Early Satiety and Gastritis.
How does V Good Probiotics work?
V Good Probiotics combines 3 different scientifically studied strains to support vaginal health and the urogenital microbiota. V Good Probiotics is designed to prevent and assist in the treatment of bacterial vaginosis and vulvovaginal candidiasis (yeast infections), and protects against pre, during and post pregnancy vaginal infections.
I’m pregnant or breastfeeding, can I use Better Together: Bloat?
Sorry Evies, unfortunately the ingredients in Bloat Buddy have not been studied for their safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding so we cannot confidently recommend it for this life stage. However, V Good Probiotics by itself is safe and actively recommended during pregnancy, postpartum and breastfeeding. The carefully selected probiotic strains have some incredible benefits for pregnancy (for both mum and baby) such as balancing vaginal flora for less itches and infections, immunity, blood sugar balance (important for gestational diabetes) and gut health support. While breastfeeding V Good Probiotics can support mum and baby’s immune systems, baby’s microbiome development, postpartum mood balance and gut health.
Is Better Together: Bloat suitable for children?
Better Together: Bloat is safe for ages 12+.
Is Better Together: Bloat allergy-friendly?
Yes! Bloat Buddy and V Good Probiotics are: Gluten free, Soy free, Corn free, Refined sugar free, GMO free, Free of artificial colours, flavours and additives.
Is Better Together: Bloat suitable for vegans?
Unfortunately not! The probiotic strains used in V Good Probiotics are derived from animal products such as milk, so they are not wholly vegan. Bloat Buddy is vegan and vegetarian friendly.
Can I use Better Together: Bloat while on antibiotics?
Absolutely. The probiotics in V Good Probiotics can provide fantastic gut and vaginal health support during antibiotic use. Just make sure to take both products at least two hours away from your antibiotics.
Is Better Together: Bloat contraindicated with any medications or conditions?
If you currently experience or have any of the following conditions, we recommend checking in with your healthcare professional before trying Better Together: Bloat: - SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) or SIFO (Small Intestinal Fungal Overgrowth) - Following a low FODMAP diet - Significant gut dysfunction including Crohns, Ulcerative Colitis, Peptic ulcer(s), active H. Pylori infection, Barretts Oesophagus, Diverticulitis or any other gastrointestinal pathology.
